Novice builder! Have a build for under $900, could use some advice!

Hello all! I'm new to these forums, I've seen a few of Linus's videos and it's about time to upgrade to something that isn't meant for running just word (old pentium, GT 310). So here I am! I've got a build together and was wondering if I could get some advice or recommendations. Some things to keep in mind: this is going to be a budget gaming build, mainly aimed at the game World of Tanks (it's a pretty easy game to run, DX9). But I'd like the flexibility to play some other games and be able to run future updates of the game with similar performance. World of Tanks will be going to three cores within the year as well as getting the Havok engine.

The Build:

  • CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair H100
  • Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer ATX (1150)
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance (2 x 4GB)
  • Storage: A-Data 128GB SSD (I have a 750GB HDD with Win 7, I'm going to put the OS on the SSD and wipe the HDD and use that for normal stuff)
  • GPU: MSI GTX 760 2GB
  • Case: Corsair Graphite 230T
  • PSU: Corsair CX 600W
  • Everything Else: I'll carry all the little stuff over from my old computer (wi-fi, DVD-ROM, etc...)

My plan is to OC the Pentium, as high as I can get it, safely at least. This should compromise for the two cores. Let me know what you think, thanks a bunch!
