Well, I guess I'll post up my Rig. FYI all the good stuff is at the bottom. Also, YES, i know an i7 is pretty much pointless over an i5 for gaming, but when you get it the price i did it's really hard to pass up. Plus i'm banking on dev's designing for threaded cores.
Just a little background; I hadn't really built a new rig since 2008 so I figured it was a little over due to upgrade. The only thing I've done that I can remember since then was get a GTX 460 (from an 8800GT) and the Corsair 800D case (from some old hand-me-down). Here's what it looked like before.
Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad
Asus 775 motherboard
4GB RAM (only had 2 of the 4 dims in place during photo)
Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200RPM
600W PSU
Asus DVD optical drive
Windows Vista
GTX 460
Corsair 800D
Now we move to a couple days ago. TIME TO UPGRADE!
People were asking about prices so what I paid is listed below (as of July 2013), does not include shipping (in USD). Some where on sale, some I didn't care a bought it anyway. I had a $2000 USD budget in mind, SINCE I already had my 800D, so I did come in just over my budget by $90.
