Not the best paint job, but I plan on cutting into this more.
I don't have a pre "internal upgrade" picture, but it started out as an OEM HP like this : http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/365996-build-log-project-stalker-custom-sleeper-pc-update-with-overclocking-results/ @MEC-777
Internally It only had an Athlon x4 630. It was a family computer that my sister finally wanted to get rid of after I gave her my Macbook Pro (she's in the Apple video editing ecosystem, and only in HS).
After getting inspired by Scrapyard Wars Ep 1, I though, "Hey, I recently graduated and I am way to busy being unemployed, so why not build a scrap yard war type machine?" So with a budget of $300 or so for upgrades I started my journey.
Here's what I bought so far
(cheat) Kington 120gb ssd - already had
(cheat) 1tb HDD - already had/with the system
(cheat) The AMD system - already had/I like cereal
Arctic Freezer 7 pro Rev 2 - $15
EVGA GTX 750ti - $70
Antec 380w 80+ Bronze PSU - $15
2 x 2 Ram (+2 already in) - $10
----------------------------------------------------
leaves me with $190 for a CPU and Mobo
1. Cut the white part of the front panel, add some type of metal mesh (white, orange, or blue)
2. Cut the bottom metal area of the frame to install a 120 or 140 mm fan (I can steal a grey noctua off my main rig, or use an orange LED Cougar fan I have laying around, only issue is with this MOBO, there is no fan control in the BIOS (yes just bios) and it is ALL 3 pin connectors)
2. Cut the white part of the side panel up and extend the cut up to the HP logo (Originally just wanted to cut the white, but the logo is making me soft)
3. MAYBE add an handle on top.
(PSA: I forgot to wear a mask during the clear acrylic part, wear a mask)
