"HP" Editing Rig

So, for this little rig it will be a bit of a dedicated editing machine, just because I can and I want to have my main rig free as much as possible. Sooooo... Yeah.

First off, my plans for this. Right now I would like to get a better motherboard for it (and ditch this POS Lenovo board), along with a video card, which I pretty much have to get. Something with DX11 would be great, along with being single slot, but dual slot wouldn't be bad either. Then later on (if the board I get supports 8GB of RAM), I'll get more RAM. Other than that, an entirely new board and CPU (Z77 anyone?) is probably next on the timeline. Oh, and of course a nice big hard drive with an SSD for the OS and software.

Now, the current parts:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

Motherboard: Lenovo G31T-LM

RAM: 2x2GB DDR2 800MHz?

HDD: 160GB Hitachi Deskstar (160GB)

Case: HP PowerSpec (mATX)

PSU: Corsair CX430M

OS/Software: Windows 7 Home Premium/Sony Vegas 12, Adobe Photoshop, Audition, After Effects, and Premiere CC

Pics of the case and maybe some hardware going into the case to come tonight or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow.
